Here we are, just one month away from our Nugget's first birthday. Looking back at this time last year, we had no idea what we were getting into. We knew that we were going to be parents and that we would fall in love with our sweet baby the moment we laid eyes on him/her, but we had no idea the extent that love would be. She captures are hearts more and more with each day that passes and life is so much sweeter with her in it. To be honest, I don't really remember what life was like before we became parents and that's OK, because I wouldn't trade where we are for anything.
Em's personality is truly blossoming. Whenever we are out and about people notice her and if they don't she waves and stares at them until they do. The most frequent remark is always about her big eyes and I have to admit, they are beautiful. I sometimes catch myself just starring at her, taking in the way she looks at her surroundings, the smoothness of her chubby cheeks and that cute dimple on her chin. She has chubby thighs and tiny little feet, which are so hard to keep shoes on and socks for that matter. She's perfect, at least we think so.
Our sweet girl is still crawling and getting into everything. She cruises around furniture and has started standing unassisted for brief moments at a time. I'm thinking she may take a step or two before her first birthday, but we will see. She loves to point, wave, blow kisses and clap her hands. Her favorite words are Ma-Ma and Da-da and she is starting to say Buh-Bye. She also makes plenty of noises that we are working on understanding, including the occasional scream of disapproval when Mom and Dad take something away. She eats 3 meals a day, she's a great eater except for pancakes, and is still nursing 4 times a day. She sleeps from 7/7:30-6:00 and takes 2 naps, roughly 1 hour each.

Height - Roughly 30 inches
Diapers - 4 (When Shawn noticed this he got really upset because she's growing so fast.)
Clothes - 12/12-18 months
